Geothermal energy comes at low cost

Geothermal energy comes at low cost

Whereas prices for gas and heating oil tend to rise in the long-term, geothermal energy is free and directly available. By installing geoKOAX heat exchanger technology with significantly lower running times of the electric heat pump than with conventional duplex probes, you save heating costs of up to 70 %. Here is how you can calculate your personal savings on heating costs and CO2 emissions!

Sustainable, renewable and free of CO2 emissions

Geothermal energy is a renewable form of energy; it is inexhaustible and is produced without damaging the environment. As it does not require a combustion process, the operation of a ground coupled geothermal heat pump is nearly free of CO2 emissions, provided bio-electricity is used. There is no need for environmentally harmful transportation as geothermal energy is used in the location where it is produced. Geothermal energy is your contribution to climate protection!

Independent of fossil fuels

Independent of fossil fuels

In contrast to fossil fuels such as gas and oil, the inexhaustible geothermal energy supplied by geoKOAX systems is available right on site. This makes you independent of price increases, complicated transport logistics, political risks and dwindling reserves.

Short payback period

As the operating costs for a geothermal heating system are unbeatably low, the system will pay for itself after just a few years. Where heating and cooling systems are required, the initial investment cost of a geothermal system may be less than the cost of conventional technology, which requires the installation of two separate heating and air-conditioning systems.

Eligible for government grants

Eligible for government grants

In Germany, government grants from the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAfA) are available to support the installation of efficient heat pumps in heating systems. This applies to residential buildings as well as to commercial and public buildings. In your country other subsidies (e. g. tax incentives) may be offered.

Increase in property value

Geothermal systems will increase the value of a property. Buildings and open spaces which are heated or cooled using geothermal systems, are eligible for the highest energy ratings (for example in Germany the EnEV energy saving ID – see photo right). Closed circuits make for maintenance-free and durable operation. Planning and construction of chimneys and service areas for fossil fuel systems as well as compliance with combustion regulations is unnecessary. No dirt, no smoke.
